KD Thompson awarded fellowship at the IRH!

Congratulations to Professor KD Thompson on receiving a competitive, one-semester fellowship at the Institute for Research in the Humanities (IRH)! Thompson will spend the Spring 2026 semester working on their book project, tentatively titled Women, Voice, and Muslim Radio in Tanzania.

The IRH seeks to foster research in the humanities and humanistic social sciences by creating a stimulating, intellectual community in which fellows can pursue their scholarly work, share it with other fellows and members of the campus, and benefit from intensive discussion with scholars from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, fields, interests, and methodological perspectives.
