This talk is free and open to all interested students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Talk description: Amid rising mental health concerns, how can we reimagine wellbeing? Wellbeing models often emphasize physical and emotional health, but what about the deeper forces that give life meaning? This presentation examines findings from a grounded theory study that led to the Theory of Centrality. We’ll discuss how religion, spirituality, and faith intersect with the concept of centeredness, shaping purpose, resilience, and overall wellbeing—and why this matters for higher education and beyond.
